GSD ALUMNI COUNCIL
Serving on the GSD Alumni Council offers a special opportunity to advance the School and strengthen its relationship with its graduates. Council members facilitate alumni gatherings in connection with fundraising, continuing education programs, student recruitment, networking, and employment of students and recent graduates. Career Services welcomes alumni to take an active role in career-related events and services by participating in career panels, seminars, networking events, and recruitment of GSD students. Alumni can post jobs and internships for current students and fellow graduates, and also search opportunities from Career Services and alumni. TRANSCRIPTS & DIPLOMAS
An official copy of your transcript can be requested from the Registrar in the Office of Student Services. The transcript can be mailed or picked up in-person. In case of loss, theft, or destruction of an original Harvard Graduate School of Design diploma, replacement diplomas can be obtained by filing a request with the Office of the Registrar.
THE FRANCES LOEB LIBRARY AND HARVARD LIBRARIES
Alumni interested in borrowing privileges may apply for a Special Borrowers Card by visiting the Privileges office in Widener Library.
Two types of Special Borrower Cards are available to GSD alumni:
- Borrowing privileges at the Frances Loeb Library for one year: no cost
- Borrowing privileges to the Frances Loeb Library AND borrowing privileges at the additional libraries listed below for one year: $200
Andover-Harvard Theological Library, Cabot Science Library, Loeb Music Library, Fine Arts Library, McKay Library, Harvard-Yenching Library, Tozzer Library, Widener Library, and Wolbach Library.

A biannual publication of the Graduate School of Design, Harvard Design Magazine probes beyond the reaches of the established design disciplines to enrich and challenge current design discourse. The GSD’s Office of Executive Education offers an extensive menu of open enrollment programs that explore timely design issues and trends. GSD alumni receive a 20% discount on tuition.
The GSD’s alumni website provides a forum to share and view updates from classmates and fellow alumni. Share updates about projects, life events, and professional accomplishments. To submit an update, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
EXHIBITIONS IN DRUKER DESIGN GALLERY
Stay current with the GSD by visiting the Druker Design Gallery and other exhibition spaces. Exhibitions feature projects by leading designers, planners, and artists that illustrate historical perspectives and contemporary projects, as well as broad design approaches and issues.
PUBLIC LECTURE SERIES
The GSD lecture program presents nationally and internationally prominent speakers from various fields who provide extraordinary insight into contemporary professional practice and scholarship.
HARVARD ALUMNI ASSOCIATION RESOURCES
As graduates of the GSD, you are also members of the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA), which provides services and opportunities to Harvard alumni from all Harvard schools.
HarvardKey is Harvard University’s unified online user credential, uniquely identifying you to Harvard IT applications and services to grant you access to resources such as free access to library resources, the alumni directory, and discussion forums.
Keep your contact information current via the alumni directory. Find fellow alumni and create a contact list of people you keep in touch with regularly. Create a robust profile to build your career network by connecting with alumni by industry, specialty, or company.
All Harvard alumni can submit alumni notes online through Alumni.Harvard.edu. Share your career updates, life milestones, photos, and interesting content with other alumni. Alumni notes submitted on Alumni.Harvard will be viewable to fellow alumni on the HAA website, and are linked from the online directory.

A free online educational experience exclusively for Harvard alumni.
